The residential tower developed in the 13th century is the best-preserved part of the complex. Round-arched windows, column capitals and the sheltered courtyard make its medieval architecture easy to read, while the elevated site opens views across Unzmarkt and the Mur valley.

Practical information

The ruins are an unsupervised outdoor site with historic, partly uneven paths, so weatherproof footwear is advisable. Castle and church tours can be arranged through the municipal office.
